In the app
- Open Stedda and sign in.
- Tap the account icon at the top right, then My Profile.
- Open Account and tap Close my account.
- Type CLOSE to confirm.
You can download a copy of your information first, from My Profile, then Privacy & Data.
If you cannot get into the app
Email hello@stedda.app from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will answer within a month.
What happens next
You have 14 days to change your mind: sign in and cancel the closure in the same place. After that your account and your diary are permanently deleted. That covers the medicine and dose you entered, your dose log, weight, food, exercise, side effects, notes, photos, reminder settings and your provider comparison history.
What we keep
We keep a minimal record that you consented and when you withdrew, so we can show we acted lawfully. If you consented to research use, the link between you and any research copy is cut within 24 hours of the deletion; what remains in the research dataset cannot be traced back to you, and nothing new is added.
